The stay here was very nice in a pleasant town. The location was perfect and nice in a fabulous area, adjacent to the old town centre, the coast, and ferry terminal in Cherbourg. Plus, it was about 20 minutes' drive to The Hungry Tree.
The staff were very unfriendly, didn't expect that coming.

Amicable staff, and fabulous food!!!
The double room with everywhere including pillows, suspect bed linen, for instance. Costs £ 47. Central location to Cherbourg ferry. And near the public square, and the centre of town.

We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 1 night, nonetheless everything was perfect. Overall it was new-fashioned and marvellous with a view. We greatly enjoyed staying in this hotel!

Distinctive accommodation with MAGNIFICENT setting just next door to the center of the Village of Valognes, the public square outside and Cherbourg. Excellent service, modern room with suspect bed linen and everywhere including pillows. The super-friendly and accommodating staff working throughout the hotel.
Beds were too small.

Great value and reasonably large units with everywhere including pillows, suspect bed linen, for example, and the staff were amiable.

Property was quaint and silent, I appreciated the stay.
Location: the hotel was right by the center of the Village of Valognes, itself an ideal base for a quick visit to the north Cotenin Peninsula and Cherbourg. Besides, the property was 5 km away from Mace Beaumount.

The hotel was in an ideal and magnificent location just next door to the centre of the town and the center of the Village of Valognes for what we wanted it for. Moreover, it was 4 km from Clarehall Shopping Centre. Enjoyed the French-style building and our a nice size and marvellous room.

Lovely, quiet room overlooking courtyard; Comfy, clean bed; Superb, value-for-money meal in restaurant; Ideal stopover before ferry; Quaint little town to explore; Beautiful, slightly quirky old coaching inn; Large rooms and bathrooms; Secure storage for bikes; Pleasant and welcoming staff.
Nothing, all was good.

Great value for money. Quaint and charming historic building with a beautiful cobbled yard and a massive barn for parking. the location is perfect for exploring the town on foot. the dining room is grand and the food is good. the breakfast, although basic, is satisfactory. it offers a truly French experience.
Some parts of the hotel are in need of maintenance. the street-facing rooms can be noisy, especially during late nights.
